Hano Jewelers & Resin Arts
Overview
Hano Jewelers & Resin Arts makes handmade resin pieces — wedding and nikkah plaques, preserved-flower frames, resin jewellery, coasters, clocks and soy candles.
Almost nothing in the range is mass-produced, so the store had to work as a commissioning tool as much as a checkout.
The problem
A keepsake is bought for a person and a date, not from a spec sheet. A default WooCommerce grid strips exactly the thing the buyer is paying for.
The range is also unusually broad for a maker this size — ten distinct categories — which makes a flat product list unnavigable.
Strategy
Lead with the object. The homepage opens on three full-bleed photographs of finished commissions, so the first thing a visitor reads is craft rather than pricing.
Then split the catalogue by occasion and object type — Nikkah Plaques, Personalised Plaques, Preserved Flowers, Jewellery, Tea Coasters, Vanity Trays, Clocks, Candles — so a buyer arriving with an occasion in mind lands one click from it.
Design
Soft blush and white, with the photography carrying all of the colour. Resin work is glossy and detailed; the interface stays quiet so it does not compete.
Search sits in the header rather than behind an icon, because customers arrive looking for a specific occasion piece.
Development
WordPress and WooCommerce on an Elementor base, so the owner can add a new commission type without needing a developer.
Standard commerce furniture — account, wishlist, cart drawer with live count, and a delivery threshold announced sitewide.
Result
A live storefront covering ten product categories, with the catalogue structured by occasion so that a one-off commission can still be found and bought like a stocked item.
- Ten product categories, structured by occasion
- Owner-editable via WooCommerce and Elementor
- Photography-led storefront for one-off pieces
