Why solo
I run an independent practice because I ship better alone. When a site, a product or an AI feature ships well, it ships because one person held the whole picture — the brief, the design, the code, the deploy, the customer who clicks the button on the live page. Three people in a room producing the same thing introduces handoffs that cost more than they add.
I take on work where I can own that full picture. If a project genuinely needs a four-person agency, I say so, and I introduce you to one. The brief that fits me is the one where you want the person building your thing to also be the person answering your WhatsApp when something breaks.
What I ship
Three flavours of work, honestly:
- Websites for small businesses — WordPress Starter at AED 2,500 flat, 7-day delivery. Salons, trading companies, service businesses, restaurants, construction firms. The site exists to produce enquiries, not to look pretty in isolation.
- Custom web products — Next.js, React, TypeScript builds for brands that need their own identity rather than a template. Portfolio sites, SaaS marketing sites, dashboards, product tools.
- My own SaaS and e-commerce — NoonSpy (a seller-intelligence platform for the Noon marketplace, with paying UAE and Saudi subscribers), Hanooon (a metal wall-art e-commerce brand I built from scratch), and ArabicListingWriter (a bilingual listing AI, waitlist open).
Who I serve
Based in Abu Dhabi, available for freelance and contract work across:
- UAE and Gulf — Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Al Ain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain. Primary market.
- United Kingdom — Remote work in GBP, timezone overlap each afternoon. I enjoy UK brands and have shipped three builds this year.
- United States — Remote in USD, early-morning US / early-evening UAE overlap works.
- Pakistan — Native Urdu speaker, happy to brief in Urdu, invoice in USD or AED.
- Everywhere else — If a client can brief in English or Arabic, we can work. Delivery is remote-first.
Journey — in brief
2023 · Abu Dhabi, UAE
Independent practice
Started building websites for UAE businesses on my own terms — salons, service companies, visa centres, blogs. Learned the trade by shipping it, one client at a time.
2024 · Own product
NoonSpy begins
Started building a seller-intelligence platform for the Noon marketplace. First real product with a database, a billing system and users who were not also clients.
2025 · Client work
Commercial builds
Industrial and service clients — Iqra Powder Coating, Leopard Transactions, Awf Al Wadi Furniture. Conversion-led builds where the website's only job was to produce enquiries.
2026 · Abu Dhabi · Worldwide
Products, AI and a studio
NoonSpy ships AI Verdict and the Listing Studio. Hanooon launches as a full commerce brand. Green Velvet becomes the first project delivered as a studio rather than as a freelancer.
Languages
English (fluent, work-primary). Urdu (native, happy to brief in). Conversational Arabic (bilingual builds are a specialty — Arabic RTL and English delivered as equals, not as a translation layer).
Kit
MacBook Pro M3 (the only office I own). Nikon D5500 + iPhone 17 Pro Max for photography and reels. Hostinger shared for client WordPress sites (AED 150/year, it just works). DigitalOcean VPS for NoonSpy ($12/month). Claude + Gemini APIs for every AI feature. Notion for client project tracking. WhatsApp Business as primary CRM.
Monthly tooling cost: under AED 200. No office, no employees, no VC. Just 7+ live client sites, a live SaaS with paying users, and the discipline to ship one meaningful thing per week.
How to hire
One paragraph on WhatsApp with the business, what you want the site to do, rough budget, rough deadline. Reply the same day with a straight answer: this is or isn't a fit, this is what it would cost, this is when I can deliver.
