How much does a photographer cost in Abu Dhabi in 2026?

The question usually arrives on WhatsApp as one line: "how much for a shoot?". The honest answer depends on three things — how long you need me on site, how many finished photos you need, and how fast you need them. These are the rates I publish, so you can compare them with any other quote you receive.

The short answer — 2026 rates

• Half-day shoot — AED 1,500. Four hours on site, up to 30 edited photos, delivered within 5 working days, one round of edit changes.
• Full-day shoot — AED 2,800. Eight hours, more than one location possible, up to 60 edited photos, delivered in 5 to 7 working days, two rounds of changes.
• Multi-day or event coverage — from AED 4,500. Launches, awards nights, two-day handovers and multi-site jobs, up to 120 edited photos.
• Travel inside Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah and Al Ain is included. VAT is added separately where it applies.

What is included in the price

• Edited JPEGs — colour-corrected, sized for the web (2000 px long edge) and for print (300 dpi), shared in one folder.
• Vertical 9:16 crops for Instagram Stories and Reels where they make sense.
• A perpetual commercial licence to use the photos on your website, social media, Google Business Profile and printed material.
• A short behind-the-scenes clip on iPhone if it is useful — free with salon, restaurant and event shoots.

What changes the price

• Hours on site — the biggest factor. A two-room clinic fits in a half-day; a six-room salon or a showroom with four zones needs a full day.
• Number of finished photos — more frames means more editing time, which is why the packages cap edited photos rather than shots taken.
• Rush delivery — 24 to 48 hours is possible at +50% of the package price.
• RAW files — available for AED 500 extra. Most clients never need them.
• Heavy retouching — compositing several shots, removing objects or beauty retouching is quoted separately from normal colour and exposure editing.
• Video on the same day — reels start at AED 500 each, and a half-day video shoot is AED 2,500.

Engagements, birthdays and small events

A ring exchange, an engagement dinner or a birthday does not need eight hours. The coverage that matters usually fits inside about 30 focused minutes: the set-up and light check, the main moment, couple or birthday portraits, family photos and the details — rings, cake, flowers. Short events are quoted per date, venue and guest count. Business shoots: what the photos are for

For a business, decide where the photos will be used before the shoot — website, Google Business Profile, Instagram, a printed brochure or a Noon or Amazon listing. That decides the crops, the angles and how many photos you actually need. Real photos of your own space and your own team earn more trust than stock images, especially on Google Maps.
