Overview

Construction contractors are chosen on trust, and trust in this sector is spelled out in accreditations, completed projects and named clients.

The existing site had all three and displayed none of them well. This is a full redesign built as static HTML — no CMS weight, no plugin surface, nothing between the visitor and the work.

The problem

A contractor's website is read by procurement teams, not by consumers. They are scanning for scope, certification and evidence of similar delivery — and they are doing it quickly.

03

Strategy

Put accreditation above the fold, project archive immediately after, and make every project a discrete, verifiable record rather than a slideshow.

04

Design

Structural typography, cool greys, and photography of finished sites at full width. Restrained and institutional rather than promotional.

05

Development

Hand-written static HTML and CSS. It loads instantly, costs nothing to host and cannot be broken by an update.

06

Result

A demonstration build that reframes a contractor as an institution rather than as a supplier. Presented as a concept for the client's decision.

What it adds up to
  • Static build — no CMS, instant load
  • Accreditation-led credibility structure
  • Project archive as verifiable records
